The shriek literally burst your eardrums.  The pang inside your head was new and completely unwelcome.  You never thought you’d ever hear the ear-popping shriek of a pterodactyl.  But here you are, in its lofty nest.  Hours before you’d been plucked by its blade like talons and dumped here as food for its soon to hatch young.  What a palaver!  Thank God you dressed well that morning.  Though your Olive fleck wool/silk (light weight with a dry hand) had seen better days thanks to the pterosaurs’ man-handling.  Either way you were going to be a beautifully presented meal for the little one.
