Navy British Flannel

Navy British Flannel

$1,890.00

How they sent, you don't know.  But here you are - living inside a whale.

It isn't all that bad.  Warm and cozy, a little damp yes, but better than freezing your tail off in the gulag.  Not unlike a studio apartment, fold-out sofa, one armchair, a little kitchen and a television. What more could one need!?

The one thing you do pine for is a day about town. Town before the regime was wonderful.  A day strutting from cafe to cafe, maybe stop for a beer in the afternoon, meet a friend at a gallery.  Oh halcyon days!  And on these days you’d always wear your favourite suit - your Navy British Flannel Suit. It was soft and textured with two blues intertwining in the weave to create a seductive depth when focused upon.  Weight wise, it was quite light for a flannel and could easily be worn on warmer days.  If you remembered correctly it was woven by the mills of Dormeuil, in Yorkshire, England.

What a suit! Even better when worn with a Green Polka Shantung Tie. Shaking your head you pull yourself out of your revery, such pure nostalgia could drive a man mad.  Especially one who lives in the belly of a giant mammal.

  • Cloth by Dormeuil
  • 100% Wool Flannel
  • Hand stitched button holes
  • 100% cupro lining
  • Dry clean only
  • All suits are made-to-measure / custom
