Navy British Flannel

How they sent you, you did not know. But here you were - living inside a whale. It wasn't all that bad though. Warm and cozy, a little damp yes, but better than freezing your tail off in the gulags. It could be described as a studio apartment, fold-out sofa, one armchair, a little kitchen and a television. What more would one need, you say!…Well, the one thing that you did pine for was a day-about-town. Town before the regime was wonderful. A day strutting from one cafe to another, maybe a small beer in a bar, meet a friend at a gallery. Oh halcyon days! And on these days you’d always wear your favourite suit - your Navy British Flannel. It was soft and textured with two blues intertwining in the weave giving it a seductive depth when focused upon. Weight wise, it was quite light for a flannel and could be worn on warmer days. If you remembered correctly it was woven by the mills of Dormeuil, in Yorkshire, England. Oh, what a suit!…Shaking your head you pulled yourself out of the revery, such pure nostalgia could drive a man mad. Especially one who lived in the belly of a giant mammal.
