Tonguing the inside of your cheek, you felt your mouth slowly cracking into a grin again… goddamn. It'd been 24 hours since you saw that cloth, cloudy grey, flecked with blue. The guy said it was some kind of blend: wool, cotton… silk, maybe? Hell if you know. But jeez, it looked fine. Hung very well. You pictured you and your sweetheart: her in that yellow dress, you in that grey suit, walking down the street, just mad with joy. And then. WHACKKKK!
